St. Madness

Had a fun afternoon playing my second annual St. Madness at Brookdale. When St. Patrick’s Day meets March Madness, it’s a fun time for sure! My set list included some Irish classics like “My Wild Irish Rose, Years May Come and Years May Go, and my personal favorite, The Unicorn. I learned some Drop Kick Murphy songs: I’m shipping up to Boston, The Wild Rover, and Rose Tattoo. I shifted out of the land of shamrocks into the stadium with songs like “Brown Eyed Girl, Jessie’s Girl, Piano Man, I Will Survive, Bad Moon Rising. I finished with Irish songs including Danny Boy (one of the saddest songs) and Finnegan’s Wake. I ended with Leaving on a Jet Plan.
